On April 17, 2008, Plaintiffs Lorena Gómez and Anielka Rodríguez filed a First Amended
Complaint in the Superior Court for the County of Alameda ("Court") to allege a class
action in which they claimed that Defendant Mi Pueblo had, among other things, improperly
required and made paycheck deductions for work-
Defendant Mi Pueblo denied all liability for such claims. Plaintiffs and Defendant met with an experienced mediator and reached a settlement after extensive negotiations. The Court has made no ruling on the merits of Plaintiffs' claims or Defendant's defenses.
